2024 PAST PLAYERS DAY

All past players and officials are invited to the North Geelong game on 27 April to celebrate past players day.  The "Team of the 80's" will be announced following on from the 70's team in 2023.  We will also celebrate the 1974 Reserves Premiership win....

Team of the Decade - 1970's

Congratulations to all those selected in the East Geelong Football and Netball Club Team of the 1970's.  In the lead up to our 150th year in 2029, the Club will be announcing a team of each decade, culminating with a team of the last 60 years in the 2029 celebrations.  We can't wait until the Team of the 80's in 2024....

EAST Geelong has overcome some woeful inaccuracy in front of goal and a determined Bannockburn to leapfrog the Tigers into second spot on the GDFL ladder with a 24-point win at Victoria Park.The Eagles had 33 scoring shots to 14 in claiming a 10.23 (83) to 9.5 (59) victory, which snapped a 10-game losing streak against Bannockburn and was their first win on the Tigers’ turf since 2013....
